No, not a blog post about romance and socializing.  A new study by the American Heart Association of college students suggests that there may be a link between the consumption of alcohol in college and heart problems later in life.  Heavy drinkers had a more than double level of c-reactive protein (CRP), which contributes to inflammation, which can cause cardiovascular problems.  Heavy drinking, for the purposes of the study, was defined as three or more drinks at least three times a week, or five drinks or more twice a week. A good summary of the story can be found on the Time/CNN fitness blog.
